WILKES-BARRE – Derrick M. Donchak and Brandon J. Piekarsky, two men convicted of a hate crime for their part in the fatal beating of an illegal Mexican immigrant, must each spend nine years behind bars, a federal judge ruled Wednesday. Read more here.
